In addition to
well-equipped Physics,
Chemistry and Biology
laboratories, the
Vidyalaya has got Computer
laboratory also. To make
learning stress free and
joyful, a Technology Aided
laboratory equipped with
Colour TV, V.C.R. And
Overhead Projector. It has
a rich library with many
encyclopedia, reference
books story books and all
latest magazines.
The Vidyalaya has a big
play ground. The students
play games like
volleyball, handball, kho
kho, cricket, football;
table tennis, etc.
Beautiful lawns have been
developed & many planters
have been displayed near
the entrance. We are also
planning to develop a
primary children park

SCIENCE LABORATORY :
|

|
|
There is a junior science
laboratory in K.V. Misa
Cantt, Nagaon. It has got
laboratory facilities for
students of class IX & X
and students from classes
VI to VIII can carry on
some simple activities
sometimes to enhance the
"learning by doing"
method.
We have sufficient
instruments to conduct
practical classes related
to the syllabus prescribed
by CBSE. Our junior lab
has a projector, measuring
instruments related to
Physics like the
voltmeter, ammeter,
potentiometer etc.
Measuring balances,
magnetic devices and
instruments, optical and
other electrical
instruments are also
present.
In the Biology Section we
have specimens of
different species, simple
and compound microscope,
slides related to the
plant and animal kingdom
etc. A human skeleton is
also there in our science
lab.
In the Chemistry section,
there is facility for the
students to carry
titration and other simple
chemical reactions to
study the physical &
chemical properties of
some elements.
Apart from these entire
lab equipments there are
several charts covering
all the three areas of
physics, chemistry and
biology to give the
children a vivid knowledge
about science

PHYSICS,

K V Misa Cantt boost
highly equipped of
impeccable and well
maintained science
labs namely the
physics, chemistry and
biology which are
mostly used by the
senior students. These
are fully equipped
with every kind of
modern apparatus
required for the AISSE
Practical Examinations
as prescribed by the
Central Board of
Secondary Education.
The labs are also well
furnished static and
working, charts and
other specimen
required for the
proper understanding
of the science
subjects .

The Vidyalaya has a
well-equipped Physics
Lab, especially for
the classes IX-XII
students. The Lab has
all the necessary
equipments and
apparatus. The
Practicals are done as
per the schedule
planned and displayed
in the Lab.

Lab is

very good collections
of bottle specimens,
prepared slides
stuffed materials
charts etc. Our lab is
also enriched with
water bath compound
Microscope, PH meter,
Sphigmomanometer,
Haemoglobinometer,
Haemocytometer,
Overhead projector,
original Human
Skeleton etc. All
these materials are
arranged
systematically inside
the lab at the easy
reach of the students.

LIBRARY : |

"Books are the store
houses of knowledge" we
have equipped our library
with a store of almost
2300 books. Priority is
given to short story
books, Encyclopedias,
Biographies and books on
general knowledge.
We have also enriched our
library with 8 magazines,
which come weekly,
fortnightly and monthly.
We are planning to
computerize our vidyalaya
library. We have a regular
subscription of three
daily and one weekly
newspaper.
Books tell their tale
mostly through words and
pictures, we have a store
of Picture Dictionaries
for the same. To make
their mental faculties
become sharper we have
included a series of
Encyclopedias.
Biographies and
Autobiographies of great
personalities leave room
for their imagination.
Books are issued to them
regularly for a period of
fourteen days, and they
are asked to write
reviews, thus encouraging
their creativity in
writing.
